The Day the Kettle Broke Down

it was the start of the brewday, when the large element wouldn’t kick on. I guess i’m not brewing then.

So went my last attempt at a brew day in 2021. I had ordered a robobrew 35L 120V electric BIAB kettle two years earlier. It served me well, but on that day, it gave up the ghost.

Can it be saved?

I’ve always been a bit of a tinkerer, so my first thought was, can i fix it? I started pulling some screws to see if i could suss out where it all went wrong.
